Seldovia Roasting Co. is a family‑owned, small‑batch coffee roastery rooted right here in Seldovia, Alaska. We bring in premium green coffee beans from Brazil, Peru, Ethiopia, and Papua New Guinea, then roast them fresh in our little harbor town.
We’re not just a roastery — we’re a family on a mission. With every pound of coffee purchased, we give back to Alaskan communities and support missionaries serving throughout rural Alaska. Our heart is to send the love of Jesus into the remote places of our state and to encourage those faithfully carrying His hope to their neighbors.
While SRC doesn’t currently have a storefront in town, you can still pick up our freshly roasted coffee at several local Seldovia shops. It’s a meaningful way to remember your trip — and a way to help spread His love across Alaska.

Seldovia Roasting Co. didn’t begin with a business plan — it began with a burden. Our family felt called to serve rural Alaska, to encourage the people who live and work in the remote corners of this state, and to share the love of Jesus wherever He opened a door. Coffee just happened to be the tool He placed in our hands.
What started as a simple curiosity about roasting turned into late nights learning profiles, experimenting with origins, and filling our home with the smell of fresh beans. Then it grew into a full roastery, and for a season, even a small coffee shop.
But as our ministry work expanded, we realized the roastery wasn’t just a business — it was a way to fuel the mission. Every pound of coffee became a chance to pour back into Alaskan communities and support missionaries serving in the bush. So we shifted our focus, closed the storefront, and leaned fully into roasting with purpose.
Today, Seldovia Roasting Co. is still family‑run, still roasting in rural Alaska, and still committed to sending hope into the places that are often forgotten. With each bag purchased, you help us encourage pastors, missionaries, and families serving across the state.
We may not have a physical shop in town right now, but you can still find our coffee on the shelves of several local Seldovia stores — a small reminder of where this journey started and the mission that keeps it going.
